Strategic Aftercare Planning
Continuing Care
Detox and assessment are just the first step in the recovery process. Once an individual is sober and medically stable, it is important that they receive ongoing mental health services, community support, accountability, and the resources they need to build healthy, fulfilling lives. This sometimes includes inpatient or outpatient addiction treatment at a a treatment facility in North Carolina. Our goal is not just for clients to refrain from substance use, but for them to build the skills necessary to make positive changes and improve their quality of life.
Family Engagement
New Waters Recovery engages the family members and loved ones of our clients in the treatment process and ongoing planning. We offer family support while clients are enrolled in our detox and clinical assessment programs and also provide family meetings online and in person. Family education and healing is an important part of the recovery process. When an individual has a healthy and engaged support system, they are more likely to succeed in their recovery.
Aftercare Planning
During treatment, we work collaboratively with our clients and their families to identify their unique needs and help clients transition to the next level of care that is appropriate for them. We offer one of the most extensive continuing care programs available in the area, taking the client’s entire history as well as their current needs into consideration. Whether the next step is an inpatient treatment program, an outpatient treatment program, a partial hospitalization program, a sober living environment, a mental health treatment facility, or another arrangement, we will help coordinate and facilitate each step along the way.
