How long does detox take at New Waters Recovery?
The majority of clients remain in our detoxification and stabilization program from 7 to 10 days. However, because the duration is determined by the substances involved and the intensity of the client’s physical withdrawal symptoms, every client’s plan is tailored specifically to their needs. Because of this, the length of time will vary based on how the client responds to the treatment provided by our clinical staff.
What happens after I complete detox?
Detox is just the first phase in recovery. Our professional team develops personalized aftercare strategies that outline the next step in treatment, whether that’s a residential program at our inpatient facility or an outpatient treatment program, ongoing counseling, or another specialized form of care that meets their specific recovery goals. We help coordinate that transition so you’re never left figuring out the next step by yourself.
What holistic therapies are available during treatment?
Together with medical detox and psychiatric evaluation, our clients receive integrative therapies including massage therapy, acupuncture treatments, meditation and yoga classes, an infrared sauna, access to a fitness center, and chef-prepared meals. All of these services were selected to enhance the client’s comfort and overall well-being during what can be one of the most physically and emotionally demanding phases of recovery.
What is NAD+ therapy, and why is it offered here?
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme therapy that may be used to support the body through detoxification. The primary objective of using NAD+ therapy during detoxification is to minimize withdrawal symptoms and enhance cellular energy production as the body adjusts to functioning without the substance. NAD+ therapy is one example of many holistic and medical approaches we use. Our clinical staff evaluates each client to determine if NAD+ therapy would be beneficial in their case.

Yes. Our executive programming includes a small number of exclusive, concierge-style bedrooms for clients who require additional levels of privacy and confidentiality.
