Jenny Alovis

Jenny earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Arizona State University and is currently earning her master’s in social work from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before coming to New Waters, Jenny gained experience as an intake coordinator for Pyramid Healthcare. While at New Waters she worked her way from being a Recovery Advocate to a Special Programs Facilitator.

Raised in Woodmere, NY and Boca Raton, FL, Jenny moved to North Carolina in 2016. Some of Jenny’s special interests include backpacking, spending time with her cat Lucy, writing poetry and music, and gardening. Jenny has a passion for helping others find their way towards a better life in recovery.
