Glenn Cheatham has long held the dream of becoming a therapist, driven by a deep belief in the power of being truly seen, heard, and valued. She understands that this kind of connection can be both life-changing and life-saving. Glenn strives to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and fully accepted — just as they are.
She works primarily with adults navigating substance use, eating disorders, and other forms of addiction. Her approach is holistic and personalized, drawing from both cognitive and somatic modalities to help each client explore what healing looks like for them. Glenn practices from a Health at Every Size (HAES), trauma-informed, multiculturally humble, and sexually affirming perspective, with particular expertise in nervous system dysregulation and its connection to trauma.
Before entering the field of counseling, Glenn earned a BS in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech. She later completed her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. Her clinical experience spans hospital settings, residential treatment centers, and private practice — each role enriching her understanding and deepening her empathy.
Glenn is committed to lifelong learning and growth, continuously evolving to better serve her clients. Whether someone is beginning therapy for the first time or returning after a break, she meets them with care, curiosity, and respect.
